I have had my eye on Saturday for quite some time now, but am unable to chase it. Sunday is looking ripe for tornadoes, possibly as early as 1 p.m. in NW KS, SW NE, and NE CO. I think Kurt Hulst might be coming down from Michigan, so it will be good to chase with him again, if he decides to head down. The WRF has everything further north, with a much deeper surface low, while the GFS is further south, and not so deep.
Still undecided on pinpointing a target, but I should have a good idea by tomorrow.
For kicks last night,
Mike Hollingshead showed me the difference between the forecasted STP last night vs. October 9th, 2001 outbreak. Interesting stuff.

Very interesting correlation there. I am going to have to go now and dig up the parameters for that day.
I am just glad the forecast I did on Thursday for Sunday is still holding water. :)
Yeah, not so thrilled about today now, but we'll give it a shot. Damn the models!
