Since I have music on here and is unable to mute (to shrink the player), I'll just post the link to the final trailer, which is here. The yelling at the end was after nearly a full year (to the day!) of me seeing a "real" tornado and was left on there in honor of the yahoo chaser. I'm hoping to start burning a lot of these by Sunday and they will be for sale on our newly designed TornadoLive.Com and also TornadoStore.Net
I was driving to school yesterday and there are always homeless people on the ramp where US 169 and I-35 split...on the off ramp. I am always reluctant to take their pictures when they are looking right at me, so I did when I drove by. The autofocus didn't work so well, but I like the way this one turned out. I'm thinking of going downtown again today and snapping some pictures of the poverty that plagues this area...as I have not taken very many pictures in the past few weeks and am lacking any creativity lately.

Obama in Kansas City
At the absolute last minute on Saturday, (instead of going to Jon Davies party, which I'm sorry I didn't make) I decided to try and snap some pictures of Obama or at least try to when he was speaking to over 75,000 people at Liberty Memorial Park in downtown Kansas City. I showed up around 5:50 when he was due to speak around 6 p.m. I thought I was pulling up to the front, but was on the wrong side and had to walk up an exhausting mountain only to walk another 1/4 mile to the crowd!
I tried to use my height and body size to push through the crowd, but for the first time ever, I felt claustrophobic...and left shortly after Obama made his way to the podium and spoke.
Here's a view of all of the vehicles on the west side of Liberty Memorial and the beginning of a brilliant, calm sunset.
Happy Halloween everyone!
I'm running out of time but plan on posting a couple of more pictures from this past Saturday...

Chad Franklin Suzuki - Real Men of Genius
There's a dealership here in the KC metro who you'll see late at night offering 9 dollars down and 200/month. They've been on these commercials for years and are known for their misleading information or the blatant lies and live well from constantly suing people who can not afford a good attorney, are up against a firm who will force some into bankruptcy which financially rapes trusting buyers and will quickly repossess their vehicle back in time to snag another sucker.
Anyways....even the best criminals eventually get caught, time being the only difference among most...and Chad Franklin Suzuki's days of scamming innocent people seems to be nearly over. I stumbled across this headline just a couple of months ago that reads:
Not a good thing when the Attorney General is sending you mail!
I'm not kidding, this was the very next google entry...with this headline:
This was dated August 26th, 2008...8 days after the Kansas AG sues Chad Franklin Suzuki.
One week later, just before the busy work week begins....the dealership burns down at 3:00 a.m.
I don't know if they could have made it any more obvious and let everyone know that the accusations were true, but a lot of evidence combusted!
Even if arson charges aren't brought up on him, at least this piece of shit won't be scamming another innocent person out of their hard earned money.

Blog Post #301, Bobby Cookie
I can't believe it's been nearly 3 years since I started this blog and I've managed to post 301 times. I hate writing (most of the time).
I hyped up yesterday even though it didn't pan out...that's how it always works...say something about it, it doesn't happen....and vice versa. Mother nature has a funny way of keeping her most magnificent displays limited to those who passionately pursue them in silence, I guess.
I actually videotaped a funnel cloud on a dying, yet occluding updraft yesterday after I had written the day off. I don't have any pictures of it, but I'll upload the HD video soon and post the 30 seconds of bliss lol.
A couple of photos yesterday, even rain showers and towering cb can give some good eye candy every once in awhile. I love chasing these localized, over-looked or marginal days......there are rarely any tornadoes...but there aren't any chasers around, usually very few people around either and sometimes I luck out with great structure. My disfunctional eye is being blamed for this piss-poor shooting I did yesterday...
I've been battling a stye this past week and the shooting, sharp pain it gives me has hindered me doing anything productive. I tried to take a picture of it, but it didn't turn out that well......on the bottom of my eyelid lies a bump that inflicts major pain into the eye!
And some photos I had forgotten about...I have a lot of decent ones I'm gradually starting to process...
And a couple of Derek's I processed for him back when we lived on top of downtown Kansas City parking garages, in June/July, shooting lightning........
And a couple of mine...plus some structure from an awesome July 2nd chase.....
And last but not least...Bobby Cookie's spotter network report from last night in Texas. I'm wondering if Mr. Cookie really exists...with bogus reports of tornadoes and hail being talked about the day prior. I think it's time to close membership on spotter network with some of the crap being reported and impostors making fake reports and screwing with the warning decisions for NWS offices.
